An emotional support animal (ESA) letter is documentation from a licensed provider designating your animal as an emotional support animal for your mental or emotional wellbeing. Request it online: a licensed provider reviews the information you certify and, if they determine it is clinically appropriate, issues your signed letter electronically — usually within hours. ESA letters are not available in every state, and the letter covers your ESA designation only — we do not complete landlord, employer, or other third-party forms, or provide additional verification.
